Sally Tuttle is an artist based in the Pacific Northwest, creating works in non-objective painting and mixed-media collage. Using fragments of drawings and hand-painted papers, she constructs layered compositions that evolve organically, embracing the element of chance in their formation.

Inspired by American Abstract Expressionism, Sally’s artistic journey began after earning a BA in Interior Design with a focus on furniture design from Cornish Institute in Seattle. While working while working on other projects, painting remained a passion—something she pursued whenever time allowed. However, she soon realized that waiting for the right moment often meant not painting at all.

In 2004, Sally took a painting workshop seeking inspiration and motivation. Since then, she has committed to a regular painting practice, continuously exploring and evolving her artistic voice.
